web quest

I have completed my first web quest and it was a big effort but I feel good about what I have done. My counselor is pushing me to complete the work I am responsible for. I know I have been out of the loop with the on-line class at NJCU, but I am working hard to get back on track.

It has been a while since I have blogged on my page. Since then, I have undergone many changes outside of teaching math to my 6th grade classes. My students - they have been great. Each day, I look forward to coming to school and they help me forget about all of the other issues in my life. There are so many days that I wish I could teach another period of class (sounds strange to most other teachers), rather than go on to other things in my day. So many times this year, I have ducked into another class during my prep time, and with the approval of the teacher in the room, stayed with the students to learn about whatever subject matter it is. I am catching up on my grad work and it is very therapeutic to do it over this long weekend. Anyway, with so much turmoil going on throughout the world, I have to be thankful for whatever I have and the safety of being in the the United States.

Week 2 web page complete

It feels goood that the first project is complete and i'm learning more things on how to use technologies. I'm still unsure in seeing how a blog can be used effectively and securely for middle school students. What do you think?

math212

Hi, everyone in my on-line class.
Here is my very first blog page. Yeah!
I'm already a master at this by the third line of typing.
Where this leads I'm not sure, but I'm now one of the digital natives.
Please give me some feedback on my web site - math212.
Unfortunately, since it is a free web page, there are advertisements at the top and bottom.
Hope you all are doing well.
